Skyline Area Parks and Open Space Preserves Map
The Mid-Peninsula Regional Open Space District hired
Geografika Consulting to design and produce an over-sized
wall map highlighting the multitude of public recreation
opportunities located within the Skyline Corridor of the Bay
Area. The map, which measures 5 feet by 4 feet, is encased
and mounted on an exterior wall of Alice’s Restaurant, which
is located centrally in the project corridor on Skyline
Boulevard in Woodside. The purpose of the map was to
generate excitement and interest about the rich natural
resources located in the area.
The map contains pictures 36 different park or open space
locations, as well as the allowable uses and a brief
description of the natural environs for each facility.
